Angie Black

Director of Administration

Bio

As the Director of Administration, Angie manages the day-to-day functioning of the office, a role where she excels thanks to her professional experience as a human resource manager, technology officer and interior designer.  Angie is also a key member of the event team, coordinating sponsorships and leading the effort for holiday programming. 

Angie joined Downtown Columbus, Inc. in 2007 and served as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Before coming to Downtown Columbus, Inc. Angie worked for the City of Columbus in the Mayor’s office as Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff under former Mayor Michael Coleman.  Angie studied accounting at Columbus Business University and The Ohio State University. Additionally, Angie holds a certificate in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is a Certified Travel Agent.
